How great it Yogyakarta!!! We loved it there and we thought the temples were even better than the famous Angkor Wat in Cambodia!!! Glad you're having such a great time, and now you're off skiing...so jealous!!

Great fish pictures! I am actually going to have to get my book out for some of them as they are amazing! Water in the tank here sorted so some new fish are on the cards but not sure you will be that impressed when you get back!

Just a quick hello! Love the news pics, amazing scenery. You guys will find the UK soooo boring when you get back!!!

Can you believe it , we had loads of snow, so much that we couldn't get our car out of the drive! Now, not 24hrs later, it is pouring with rain and no sign of the snow whatsoever! Hey Ho, that's British weather for you, bet your not missing it one little bit!

Off to my works Christmas 'Do' tonight at The Manor, so dad will be home alone. Ahh, poor thing!!! Also bought our Christmas tree today so are looking a bit more festive as Christmas approaches.

Nearly the weekend again - woo! All well here - enjoyed reading you latest blog post, which has inched me closer to the magic 5.30 marker! Had our department Christmas party last night so a few musty heads and tired eyes today. Probably didn't help that I got homea round 12.30 and then stayed up for another hour watching the cricket! Damn the time difference between here and Austrialia (although we thumped the Aussies on Day 1).

Major controversy yesterday as England failed to win the bid for the 2018 World Cup, which went to Russia - as you might expect, every English newspaper has used the word "fix" or "bung" or "scam". It doesn't help that Qatar (home of no football of note and up to 50C heat in the months of the World Cup finals) won 2022 - it just enhances the arguments that FIFA is crooked!

Snow has fallen, all around me (children are playing, having fun) but not stopped me getting to work - London appears to have missed the worst of it, but the surrounding counties have had it pretty bad. My parents in Billericay have had about 2 feet in the last week! Never happened when I was living there!

Right, time to finish work and get out of there. Hope you are both good and well. Really good to speak with you both last weekend and hopefully catch up on Skype again soon.

Hello peeps.

The whole south is snowed in and I am working from home so thought I would take the chance to message you both. We had loads of snow last night and more on the way so to be fair at the moment you could do a ski season here! P and I are supposed to be going to Nottingham on holiday this weekend but not sure if we will get there now!

Otherwise not a huge amount going on. Just watching lots of rubbish reality TV so you are not missing a huge amount. Will have a fake xmas in your honour soon though and a proper one when we catch up!

Loving all your gorgeous pics. You look so healthy and lovely and tanned (yes, that's you, James). And so you should with all those delicious beaches you have been visiting. Oh, how we are jealous. It is cold, windy and a bit drizzly here. Hoping the weather perks up for Jacob's fishing trip on Sunday. No idea what I will do with the party guests if it is cancelled.
