Ellie What a sweet and touching trubite to your Grandma. Madeline always struck me as someone whose feet were planted firmly on the ground. She was a very powerful woman, She was extremely proud of her family and for good reason and she would be enormously proud of all of you now. I feel blessed to have known her and for our families to have been connected.

Hi, you don't know me, I am a friend of your mum Liz. She talks endlessly about your adventure so thought I'd have a look at your journey. It looks fantastic and you are writing an amazing blog. It is seriously making me think of what to do next year. Maybe we should attempt something a little different to the norm. Will keep writing it is the best travel review I have ever read.

Hello you two, hope you are well and not too tired after your big climb into the mountains. Your Dad showed me your blog with all the places you have been and I loved reading about your adventures. I can sit at night and run through your stories again in my mind. You do seem to be having a wonderful time, I am pleased for you. Some of your adventures look a little scary. I don't think I would have been able to manage the Inca Trail, but it must have been worth it when you arrived at Machu Picchu, it looked amazing. I didn't fancy the bus ride much either. I saw the salt flats photos on Google, I thought that was a special place and I loved the dice. Your photo is by the phone, I say hello every day and send my thoughts. Miss you both, miss my chat with a cuppa in the morning. Love you xxxx
