Richard and Wendy sailaway
Hi all,
We have rejoined the boat in Cagliari, having deserted it in October 2010. This is our next leg of the journey that will hopefully end in Greece.
2009 we sailed from Plymouth, UK to France, across Biscay to Galicia, down Portugal to stop in the Algarve at Olhao, near Faro. 2010 carried on east to Spain, Gibraltar, Spanish south coast, over to the Balearics, up to Barcelona and back down to Mallorca and over to Menorca. We crossed to Sardinia in September.
Click on map to see progress, zoom right in and look at satellite images to get an idea. And if anyone wants a little break in the sunshine - just let us know!

re: Corse Sailing 2011Geof Happy Birthday Looks like Sardines in Sardinia (and cheese) washed down with a pint of beer!!
re: Sardines to StartPhilip Webster Hi Wendy and Richard, sounds like a great restaurant you were able to stumble across, albeit you were understandably tired. Your battery charger problem reminds me of a similar experience in Haslar Marina, when a nearby boat was struck by lightning during a storm and it blew up the switch mode cahrger. Replacing the main drive transistor fixed it! Have fun, Philip
